Ep.3 — Asking questions GoPomelo Academy — English practice kit A concise planning answer you have checked against its sources. GUIDE Ask a focused question and specify the format you need: for example, an action table rather than a general summary. Open the citations and compare dates, names, and numbers with the source text. Separate confirmed decisions from open questions. Revise the prompt if the answer mixes them together. PROMPT Act as the workshop coordinator. Using only these sources, create an action table with task, owner, and deadline. Then list unresolved questions separately. Cite supporting passages and write “not specified” for missing deadlines. YOUR TURN 1. Run the prompt with both sources selected. 2. Check every owner and deadline against the planning notes. 3. Ask a follow-up question about the room and keep it on the unresolved list. ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE Send invitation — Maya — 5 November. Prepare sample documents — Arun — 6 November. Book room — Pim — 7 November. Open question: which room will be used? CHECK YOUR WORK All three tasks have the right owner and deadline; the undecided room is not presented as a confirmed booking.
